We are a small school with a very open and friendly atmosphere. We have four teachers including three class teachers and one new full time SET teacher. We currently have three special needs assistants and we have a shared school secretary and caretaker. We teach girls from four to seven years old. The school was built in 1934. We are located in Cabra, quite close to Dublin city centre. Our central location means that we are close to amenities (which we visit regularly) such as Cabra Library, Phoenix Park, Dublin Zoo, the Ark Children’s Cultural Centre, Hugh Lane Municipal Gallery and many more.
- Our classrooms are spacious and well-equipped and all have interactive whiteboards
- We have a very large playground. We share this great facility with the Senior Girls’ school. Every day our pupils enjoy playtime in our spacious, secure yard.

- Our school garden was designed by RTE’s Duncan Stewart back in 2000. The garden is a wonderful science resource where children can see various trees, plants and insects firsthand and also learn about how to maintain a garden.
- We have a dedicated computer room where the children have weekly sessions. We have a wide range of educational software focusing on developing literacy, numeracy and scientific skills.
- Children have weekly ballet classes. These lessons and ballet shoes are provided at no cost to parents.
- Free lunches are provided for every child – parents choose from a menu, selecting their choice of sandwiches/rolls, water, fruit and a healthy snack.
- Our school is a feeder school for Christ the King Girls’ Senior School which in turn is a feeder school for St. Dominic’s College and St. Joseph’s Secondary School, Stanhope Street.
