Sow & Grow: Week 3

Our plants are now 3 weeks old and our beans and carrots are starting to catch up with the cress!  Our growers all had an encouraging chat with their plants this morning.  Let’s see if our plants take a stretch over the coming days.

As you can see the Bean Team have been very successful this week, and our Star Grower has a plant that measures an impressive 33cm!

Sow And Grow: Week 1

Senior Infants are taking part in the “Sow & Grow” programme.  All of the children planted seeds and are monitoring their growth.  Unfortunately it was not a good week for our beans and cress, which have not grown at all, but all of the cress grew!  Two of our pupils were this week’s “Star Growers” with their cress plants measuring in at 4 centimeters each.  Well done, girls!
